George Best responds to Busbys exhortations for him to find a nice girl and settle down by becoming engaged to student nurse Eva Haraldsted. He had spotted the 21-year-old Danish blonde among a crowd of autograph hunters during United's pre-season tour to Copenhagen. News of their engagement leaves Busby aghast.
